BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (BTECH)
The entry requirements for the degree programme shall be:
UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (UTME)
UTME subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics
Five Credit level passes at not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Agricultural Science, at Senior Secondary School Certificate.
DIRECT ENTRY
The following may be considered in addition to the minimum requirements of Senior Secondary School Certificate stated above:
Two 'A' Level passes with a minimum of 'C' grade in Mathematics, Chemistry, or Physics;
At least Upper Credit pass in National Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized Polytechnic or its equivalent;
NCE with at least credit pass both in Computer Science/Mathematics; Computer Science/Physics or Mathematics/Physics
PROGRAMME DURATION
The duration of the programme is normally ten (10) academic semesters for UTME and eight (8) academic semesters for the direct entry candidates. If a candidate fails to graduate within the stipulated academic semesters, he or she will not be allowed to exceed a total of fifteen academic semesters in the case of UTME candidate and thirteen semesters in the case of direct entry candidate.
